Tsurumi TEF & TEW Series - High Pressure Centrifugal Pumps - Petrol

The TEF and TEW are self-priming centrifugal, high head pumps powered by OHV Honda petrol engines. They have
carbon ceramic mechanical seals, aluminium pump housings, and cast iron volutes and impellers. To achieve the
high pressures, these impellers have a larger diameter than conventional engine pumps and operate most effectively
when pumping clear water. The TEF3-50HA and TEW-50HA models feature three BSP male outlets (1 x 1½” and
2 x 1”) to enable two people to use the pump at the same time and still with high pressure e.g. for fire fighting, dust
suppression, cleaning etc. Each outlet has a blanking cap to maximise pressure and conserve water when it is not
needed. The TEW is fitted with an electric start (with battery holder, but not battery) to ensure quick and effortless
starting. All models (except TEF-25HA) are housed within protective tubular steel, easy carry frames, and have oil
alerts and anti-vibration rubber feet. Maximum suction lift is 8 metres, however 6 metres, or less, is recommended.
To assist manual handling of models TEF3-50HA and TEW-50HA, a two wheeled trolley is available as an optional
extra. Hose couplings, washers, clips and strainers are supplied, but hoses are extra.
