Wilo Pumps

Wilo is a German company that specialises in manufacturing systems for heating, air conditioning, cooling, pressure boosting, water supply and sewage disposal in domestic households, rented accommodation, administrative and commercial buildings.

Wilo started in 1872; the Louis Oplander Copper and Brass Goods factory was founded. Even then company founder Louis Oplander was already pursuing the idea of making it easier for people to be supplied with water and heat, and in 1928 this idea became a reality with the first circulation accelerator in the world. Milestones have been set time and time again — the company's history spanning over one hundred and forty years. In 2001 Wilo developed the first high efficiency pump in the world for heating, air conditioning and cooling. Even today it is regarded as the benchmark for the former energy label. In 2009 Wilo revolutionised heating technology again with Wilo Geniax — the world's first de-centralised pump system. All these developments have contributed to the position that Wilo is today — one of the leading manufacturers of pumps and pump systems, with 60 subsidiaries, 15 production sites and about 7000 employees worldwide. Wilo company's history and tradition are both an obligation and a spur. Every year Wilo invests significant sums in research and development projects. Wilo's goal is to continuously improve their products. And to develop them further.

Wilo pumps are easily distinguishable among competitors by their corporate green colour. Wilo put a lot of effort in improving the efficiency and reliability of their products to meet strict EU regulations, increase performance and reduce maintenance cost.
