ATAC awarded the Southern Water GMES framework to cement its products and processes within the South East of England and the Isle of White supplying mechanical and electrical services including process plant.
ATAC Solutions Ltd was founded in 2007 by Andrew Turnill and Adam Colley. The companys name, ATAC, was derived from the initials of the founders, symbolising their partnership and shared vision for the business.
The companys early projects were centred around packaged plant solutions for military applications, leading the founders to associate ATAC with a military vocabulary. As the years passed, ATAC expanded its focus, developing process plants that gained recognition and were widely adopted by major water companies across the UK.
In addition to process plants, ATAC extended its services to include full-service offerings for liquid waste disposal, tankerage, and the maintenance and service of equipment, treatment systems, and facilities. This diversification allowed the company to provide comprehensive solutions for various aspects of water and waste management, solidifying its position as a key player in the industry.
In 2021 ATAC was acquired by Axius Water Group. The acquisition brought significant resources and expertise to ATAC, empowering it to expand its operations and serve a broader range of customers.
Building on its growth and success, ATAC recently made a significant move to a new, larger facility, providing the company with the space and infrastructure needed to support its growing operations and meet increasing demand for its services.
The story of ATAC Solutions Ltd exemplifies the power of collaboration, innovation, and adaptability. From its beginnings as a partnership between people to its evolution as part of a larger group, ATAC has remained committed to excellence and growth, driving positive change in the water and wastewater management industry.
