Hear directly from our valued team members about their experiences working at ATAC Solutions and how the company has supported their professional growth.
I joined Atac Solutions Ltd in October 2014 as a Lead Electrical and Mechanical Engineer. From day one, I was trusted with meaningful responsibilities and encouraged to contribute ideas that made a real impact. That early confidence in me laid the foundation for my professional growth within the company.
In time, I transitioned into a Project Engineer role, where I had the opportunity help assist and lead complex wastewater engineering projects and work closely with a team of highly skilled professionals. In October 2020, I was proud to step into the role of Operations Manager during the peak of COVID where our offering was in high demand. This was a real step up for me during a particularly difficult time for many employees and businesses, however I am extremely grateful for the opportunity and wider exposure of business operations it has given me.
What makes Atac Solutions unique is its unwavering commitment to internal growth and innovation. The leadership team that I am part of, fosters a collaborative environment and this will only continue and develop further with Management training scheduled later this year.
It's incredibly rewarding to be part of a company that plays such a vital role in environmental sustainability, while also investing in the long-term development of its team.
I joined ATAC Solutions back in 2017 as a Service Engineer, and after two years into the role, I was given the opportunity to step up as a Site Supervisor. In 2021 I moved into my current position as a Project Engineer.
One of the things I've really appreciated about working at ATAC is the genuine support for career development. Hard work doesn't go unnoticed here, and there's a real focus on helping people grow into roles that match their strengths and ambitions. Every step of the way, I've felt backed by a team that wants to see me succeed.
It's a great environment with a strong team spirit, and I'm proud to be part of a company that values both professional growth and a positive workplace culture.
I joined ATAC Solutions Ltd in January 2000 following a career break to raise my family. Having been out of the office environment for several years I was excited for the opportunity to join ATAC as their Receptionist. I was welcomed immediately by the whole team and felt that my skills were soon recognised when I was given the opportunity to join their Compliance team later that year. Along with this came the training and support to encourage my continued growth within the company.
This path that I am taking has opened my eyes to the world of Health and Safety; The mentoring and training that I have received, including recently attending an Institution of Occupational Safety and Health course, has been invaluable. As my role has developed it demonstrates to me how ATAC management take their staff's safety and welfare seriously. I always have the support of ATAC management when implementing important measures to keep our team as safe as possible.
ATAC Solutions foster an environment that gives confidence to their staff, enabling growth and development of knowledge and experience within the wastewater industry. I am proud to be part of such a forward-thinking company that supports and values their staff.
I started working at ATAC in December of 2021 as a Labourer on the Aeration Lanes, within 2 months of joining I moved over to the Engineering team as it was identified that my skills gained through previous employment could be put to use within this department.
Since then I have been fortunate to continue progressing at ATAC and currently sit as a Lead Engineer. ATAC has offered me great career progression, and I don't plan to stop there over the next few years.
The company has grown quickly and the employee offering is consistently being reviewed to ensure that they are competitive within the market. I enjoy working at ATAC and am looking forward to new opportunities and development with the business in the near future.
