Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specification and quality standards through regular quality inspections with direct labour and sub-contractors.
  • Direct and supervise day to day operations of direct labour or sub-contractors ensuring appliance of common operational procedures.
  • Ensure material requisitions are issued in adequate time to achieve the Project Manager.
  • Schedule, control and monitor all plant and materials on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure all work is completed to programme.
  • Fulfil the role of Temporary Works Coordinator when required.
  • Liaise with Project Manager/Engineer, Site Manager, regarding cost control, waste management, variations and confirmation of instructions.
  • Carrying out safety inspections and fulfilling the health, safety and welfare responsibilities as detailed in the Company’s Policy.
  • Maintain quality and environmental control procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  • Create and maintain good relations with clients, design teams and neighbours as well as any other stakeholders.
  • Fulfil the role of Mentor as and when required.
  • Control and monitor site waste in accordance with the Company’s Site Waste Minimisation and Management policy.
  • Maintain positive relations with clients, design teams and neighbours.
  • Fulfil company requirements undertaking all relevant training and development activities as required.

Minimum requirements:

  • SMSTS or SSSTS, Confined Space Trained, CSCS.
  • A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience within a multi-disciplined engineering team.
  • Demonstrate ability to work within a Quality Management System.
  • Be comfortable working according to Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety requirements.
  • e literate and numerate.

Service Engineers

ATAC Solutions are looking for motivated Mechanical and Electrical engineers to join our team in the Southeast (Kent).
ATAC predominantly work in the water treatment industry for domestic and industrial clients, supplying and fitting our own in-house designs. Please see for more information on the company.
The work will be varied and predominantly in the Southeast (Kent, London, Essex, Sussex & Hampshire).

The successful applicant(s) must be a good communicator and capable of giving and receiving instructions as required:
  • Water Industry/Industrial Background (Preferred)
  • Full Driving License (Essential)
  • Approved JIB Status (Desirable)
  • CSCS card (Preferable)
  • Appropriate City & Guilds and/or NVQ3 Qualification (Essential)
  • C&G Confined Space Trained (Desirable)
  • First Aid at Work (Desirable)

Transport Manager & Planner

• Plan work effectively for all Engineers and Tanker Drivers ensuring that the client expectations and logistics are taken into account.
• Liaise with clients/customers to ensure bookings are secured.
• Ensure the workflow calendar is kept up to date for invoicing purposes.
• Look after PUWER records for all vehicles, tools and equipment making sure they remain fully equipped.
• Have overall responsibility for Vehicle maintenance, ensuring they are all roadworthy, arranging MOT and Servicing as required, Tanker 6 Weekly checks are booked in and any maintenance work required is carried out correctly and professionally
• Carry out weekly checks of Driver Log books
• CPC desirable or willing to be put through the course (ATAC funded)
• Salary is negotiable dependant on experience and qualifications,
• Holiday 20 days per year plus statutory Bank Holidays
• Salary banding £30-£40k
