Project Manager (PLC)

Responsibilities:
To work within our Projects department, reporting to the Senior Project Manager in the design, planning, reporting, delivery and review of engineering solutions within PLC frameworks. Projects will be predominantly based within wastewater schemes.

Skills and Experience:

  • Preparation of documentation packs including RAMS, construction phase plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple concurrent projects to ensure their successful delivery against KPI’s.
  • To closely liaise with other departments to ensure resources are correctly allocated and client requirements are fully achieved.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Innovative thinking with the ability to develop practical design solutions to meet technical challenges.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills.
  • Attention to detail and a dynamic approach.
  • Good communication skills both in written correspondence and client facing meetings.
  • Familiarity with the standard Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
  • Microsoft Project experience would be beneficial.
  • An ability to manage contractors and engineers when required.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within the water and / or wastewater industries

Qualifications:

  • An industry applicable ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent (Desirable)
  • H&S qualifications (desirable)
  • IOSH or CITB 5 Day Site Safety Management (SMSTS) (Desirable)
  • CSCS card
  • Full Driving License is essential.

Responsibilities:
Attending domestic and industrial client sites to carry out general repairs, investigations, diagnostics and rectifying faults with support from the wider engineering team.

The work will be varied and predominantly based in the South East (Kent, London, Essex, Sussex and Hampshire).

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic team in the wastewater industry. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the customer base within the Anglian Water, Severn Trent, Welsh Water, and Thames Water regions. Your primary focus will be to drive sales, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:
    Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the wastewater industry, specifically targeting Anglian Water, Severn Trent, Welsh Water, and Thames Water. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. 
  2. Account Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, acting as their primary point of contact. Understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. Proactively upsell and cross-sell products and services to increase account value. 
  3. Market Research:
    Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the wastewater sector. Identify potential market gaps and collaborate with the product development team to introduce new offerings. 
  4. Negotiation and Proposals:
    Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, negotiate contract terms, and close deals. Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and align them with company capabilities. 
  5. Customer Support:
    Provide exceptional customer support by resolving inquiries, addressing concerns, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering technical expertise and guidance. 
  6. Sales Reporting:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue tracking. Prepare regular sales reports and present findings to the management team. 
  7. Collaboration:
    Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and engineering, to align sales strategies and ensure seamless execution. Foster a positive team spirit and contribute to a collaborative work environment. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven track record in sales and account management within the wastewater industry or a related field 
  • Strong understanding of the wastewater treatment process and associated technologies 
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills 
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships 
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset 
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities 
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
